Luxury Safari Tent Camp in Botswana
Republic of Botswana, the full name of the Botswana , is a landlocked country in southern Africa. The country's borders are all dry terraced terrain, with South Africa in the south, Namibia in the west, and Zimbabwe in the northeast. The northern end of the country only touches Zambia near Victoria Falls.
Botswana has a generally flat terrain with an undulating plateau, typically 800-1100 meters above sea level. The central and southwestern parts of the country belong to the Kalahari Desert, covering nearly 70% of the land in Botswana. The Okavango Swamp in the northwest is the largest inland delta in the world. The multi-grassland and salt marshes, the Makadadikgadi Pan, are large in size and are located in the north of Botswana. The southeast is hilly. Most of the area has a savanna climate, and the west has a desert and semi-desert climate. The annual average temperature is 21 °C. The average annual precipitation is 400 mm.
Botswana is one of the major destinations for tourism in Africa. It is rich in tourism resources and is a country with a large number and variety of wild animals in Africa. The government has designated 38% of the country's land as a wildlife sanctuary, and has established three national parks and five wildlife sanctuaries. Chobe National Park and Okavango Delta Wildlife Sanctuary are the main tourist spots. Tourism is the second largest contributor to Bo's GDP and accommodates the largest employment growth.
The Okavango Delta has an inland delta of 1,500 square kilometers and has a very rare desert oasis. It is also a paradise for world photographers. Here, every rainy season, you can see a large group of animals strolling here, hundreds of rare birds stay here. Because the delta is close to the desert, on the edge of the border, there are dense papyruses. We say that this is a rare place with desert wetlands. There are also large animals such as hippos and crocodiles.
Chobe National Park is the largest park in Africa. It is located in the northern part of Botswana. It is home to more than 100,000 elephants and is rich in ecosystems, giving it a wide variety of animals.
