DESCRIPTION

Tunisia, which is located at the northernmost tip of the African continent, faces the Mediterranean Sea in the north and east. It is one of the few countries in the world that has concentrated beaches, deserts, forests and ancient civilizations. It is a place of long-standing civilization and multiculturalism. Located in the heart of the Mediterranean region, Tunisia has a coastline of 1, 300 kilometers.

In December 2017, we cooperated with a amusement park in Tunisia,  BDiR customized an entrance tensile fabric structure and a large arc roof for the playground based on the local environment. The roof structure adopts a large span truss. The expanded area of the tensile structures reached 2, 400 square meters.

The steel structure processing and fabric structure processing of this project were completed at BDiR factory in china. The details of the processing are important, the weld processing, sanding and painting are all standard work. We delivered it to the playground builder in time by sea ship, and we provided engineers to Tunisia, technician went to the site and help the project complete more smoothly.

Swearengin Prioletti, the contractor of the Tunisian amusement park, also gave BDiR strong support and created favorable conditions for the construction. After more than half a month of hard work by the construction workers, the entire project was successfully accepted and the contractor was very recognized for the quality of the project. This is also the recognition for BDiR, which laid a good foundation for our African markets.

INSTALLATION


       Step 1: Design

       BDiR use the latest tensile structural design software to produce
       detailed tensile structural designs.


       Including:
       BIM model design (building information modeling), 
       finding and load analysis,  integrated building design,
       joint force analysis, membrane cutting analysis,
       construction process simulation, numerical wind tunnel simulation.
    Step 2: Membrane Fabrication

    Membrane fabrication plays an important role in the tensile structure.

    There are many fabrics (PVC, PVDF, PTFE, ETFE) in the market, they come from all over the world, they have different characteristics and prices, different welding or joining techniques. We will make the best choices from structural design, project location and our customer budget.


      Step 3. Steel Fabrication

      Tensile structure are made of steel structural members that are welded
      and painted in our factory.


      We will conduct the following procedures with high standards:
      Paint thickness detection, ultrasonic testing,
      magnetic particle testing,
    high-strength bolt torque testing,
      cable pre-tensioning, rust removal ,

      pre-assembly inspection, painting, etc.

    Step 4: Cable Fabrication

    Cable and hardware fittings are procured from the most reliable and certified vendors of the industry in compliance with the international quality standards.

      Step 5: Installation

      The installation of the tension structure is critical to the overall success
      of the project.


      We will provide on site installation service. Our project manager will work
      with the client to coordinate the structure installation on site.  Including
      steel structure installation, membrane lifting and measure tension. If you
      prefer self-installation, we'll send you detailed instructions so it can be
      easily installed.
